Trinity Rodman Might Go Overseas

Plus, Duke Fans, Get Ready For The Tourney

…Only with even more face and body paint. The NCAA March Madness Music Festival will be in San Antonio and feature big names like Jelly Roll, T-Pain, Pitbull, Doechii, and Chris Stapleton. They better do a group cover of One Shining Moment or we riot.

Tiger Woods’ life has been a movie. For real. The golf GOAT will have his life story told via biopic that the Obamas are producing, which makes sense, Tiger Woods’ movie was never going to be created by Lionsgate.

Eminem is becoming more than just a WNBA Stan. He’s joining the group that has hopes of bringing an expansion team to Detroit.

“Soho House is cool, but I wish it had more Kevin Durant,” is definitely something you’d hear us saying. Turns out, we’re in luck. Boardroom is starting a membership club based around in-person and digital events to create a sense of community.

Courtney Williams is more than a hooper. She’s also a day trader, and based on her enthusiasm for “having a green day” it seems like she’s pretty good at it. C-Will, we have some financial questions, like is the stock market a place or more of a state of mind?

Washington Spirit powerhouse Trinity Rodman is the latest big NWSL name to renew her passport, just in case she gets an itch to go on a Euro trip. On the topic of playing in Europe, Trin said: "I think I would kick myself if I retired and hadn't done that.” Gulp. The hint does not bode well for American women’s soccer, considering Naomi Girma just signed with Chelsea, Crystal Dunn’s playing under the lights of the Eiffel Tower, and Jenna Nighswonger and Emily Fox have gone full Gunner.

Landon Donovan is bummed about the departures (namely Girma’s) but he seems to think it points to an instability in the NWSL. We don’t know about all that, but we do know there are conspiracy theories brewin’.

Some people think born Brit and USWNT head coach Emma Hayes is pulling a Benedict Arnold and conspiring to move the world’s greatest players abroad. We say…probably not. And so does Emma, for what it’s worth. She says she’s just encouraging players to do what they feel is right (a claim Crystal Dunn backed up).

So, since there’s no one thing or person to blame for these moves, American fans are kinda maybe possibly starting to panic. But rest assured, the explanation is simple. Women’s soccer is growing; going worldwide a la Pitbull.

In fact, NWSL team valuations have hit their highest dollar amount ever, and coupled with the fact that Hayes and Donovan both think the NWSL is the most competitive league in the world, top to bottom, we should really be celebrating the league’s successes.

So, everyone remain calm. Maybe Trinity’s just bummed she never got to study abroad.

Ever since you watched Duke women’s hoops beat ND and NC State to win their conference tourney, March has been mad. And since Duke men’s hoops plays in their ACC tourney today, it’s about to get even madder. If you’re like us, and you’re litcherally counting down the days until the B*g D*nce (copyright: someone that isn’t us), here’s how you’re going to pregame to get yourself hyped.

First, you’re going to watch Duke’s best dancer ever, Jared McCain, go back to Duke to play UNC on his YouTube channel. Then you’re gonna listen to his songs of the week

Then, you’re gonna stare out the rainy window, into the abyss, and think about how your favorite coach, John Scheyer, should have won coach of the year. But, at least you have a player some consider to be the most complete product of all time. You’ll convince yourself he’s staying another year, despite your better judgement

Hop on a message board and yell at some T*rheels fans for what they did to Cooper’s mom. And then finally, to complete the ultimate level of Blue Devil fandom, you’re gonna buy some Duke gear because you deserve a treat.

Several of the hats feature words that could easily be mistaken for inappropriate words. The Astros, Angels, and Rangers were specifically called out as being unsavory. After being pulled from shelves, they’re selling for big bucks on the secondary market.
