Timothée Chalamet Knows Ball

Plus, A Sports Takeover At Art Basel

The former Yankee signed a 15-year, $765 million deal with the other New York team. Saturday Night Live’s jokes did not age well.

The F1 season is over, but the motorcore look is still in. From leather jackets to trucker hats with car logos, every brand wants a piece of this trend.

Linda Caicedo introduced herself to the globe at the Women’s World Cup. Now, the 19-year-old Colombian is trying to take over the world as the sport’s fastest-rising star.

Michael Strahan’s off-the-field evolution is a playbook many athletes dream of replicating. He’s on every television show imaginable but could soon retire from his second act.

Soccer fashion lineage began with David Beckham, evolved with Cristiano Ronaldo, and currently lives through Jude Bellingham. But which era wore it best?

When Timothée Chalamet was announced as the College Gameday guest picker, everyone was curious. Does the New York City theater kid even watch ball?

Apparently, he watches a lot! The internet went crazy after realizing that Timothée really knows how to break it down. Celebrity analysis will never be the same after Chalamet’s Oscar-worthy performance.

We thought this would be a cute cameo to promote his Bob Dylan biopic, but Chalamet—whose X account held juicy clues about his sports fandom—came with FACTS on everything, including HBCU football. He even went against the experts, picking a major upset.

Chalamet got the full Pat McAfee experience and was immediately mesmerized. In front of a hostile Georgia crowd, Chalamet made his movie dad proud. He stuck to his guns, picking Texas in the SEC title game.

Even though he only went 4-3 on his picks, sports fans want Chalamet to quit his day job. Maybe he can fix the Jets? At the bare minimum, there’s a Hallmark Cris Collinsworth movie with his name on it.

We owe you an apology, Timothée.

December is a time to enjoy the holidays, be around loved ones… and create unforgettable memories at Art Basel. Miami turns up the heat every winter for Art Basel. The biggest sports cultural influencers took their talents to South Beach, making a splash at the annual event.

Among the weekend events was DJ Khaled’s golf classic, promising a Rolls-Royce if anyone hit a hole-in-one. The Abloh Skate Invitational got a Cactus Jack remix this year, with Supreme chipping in to honor the late fashion trailblazer. There was even an art exhibit for The Captain, with Derek Jeter’s most iconic plays hanging on the walls.

Even though the NFL season hasn’t wrapped up, OBJ linked up with the OG Ronaldo at an intimate waterfront event and GQ continued its run of hosting must-attend events with Stefon Diggs, joining Big Sean and Kaytranada at GQ’s Miami Art Week celebration.

It wouldn’t be a Miami event without Messi, who created his own pop-up shop with GOAT-labeled Stanley coolers.

Vanity Fair brought two GOATs on stage, as Serena Williams and Simone Biles graced the event with their presence for an intimate panel. Ahead of its inaugural season, Unrivaled Basketball held a series of conversations connecting athletes and artists. They had a busy few days between all the events, and trying to keep up with all the WNBA expansion news.
