This Weekend Went Triple Viral
Plus, Learn Her Name If You Don’t Know It

…You know Forrest Weber, the actor who plays “Junior.” And if you go to Barclays Center, you know him, too. That’s because the actor is also a locker room attendant at Nets games. He’s been doing it for 12 years, and NBA players recognize him (and tip him) often.
Corey Kispert moves like the G in lasagna (silent). And although he’s physically moving, from the DMV to the ATL, it isn’t going to stop him from getting a fit off. Now, let’s get him to the Met Gala.
Knitting? This ain’t your grandma’s hobby anymore. Sports fans, like Rysa Ruth, have become tired of limited merch options, so they’ve started knitting their own jerseys. And they’re using it to find community, too. Wholesome hobbies just might heal the nation.
Some say streetwear is dead, and in some ways, I see what they mean. But that was before I read about how Clint 419’s brand, Corteiz, is constantly reinventing ways to keep it exciting, exclusive, and thrilling. Like, for example, holding pop-ups in decommissioned subway cars.
When one door closes, another opens. Especially for NFL coaches, where you can easily get another job, no prob! Which of these eligible coaches do you want your team to hire?
Forward this to your offline friend.

If you weren’t online this weekend, congrats on touching grass. It’s not like you missed anything anyway. Well, not now that I’m here to fill in the gaps for you. Here’s what went down, as explained by the most viral posts of the weekend.
In his Wild Card game, Caleb Williams showed he was a generational talent — at being a waiter at an Italian restaurant. Also, maybe at football, tbh. And it’s now a generational GIF.
We've got Bears in cheese grater hats and Caleb Williams grating cheese

Lots of people think the Pope was behind the comeback.
Heated Unrivalry? Lexie Hull and Erica Wheeler went viral for holding hands during their game. We need more of this, in my opinion.
Speaking of Unrivaled, Kelsey Plum scored 38 points and threw some fake shade at her teammate, Aliyah Boston.
Also, this, which I won’t be commenting on, but is being said often.
Across the pond, in the historic FA Cup known for serving up its fair share of giant killings each season, sixth-tier Macclesfield blew everyone away when they knocked off last year’s champs, Crystal Palace of the Premier League. Here are their full-time jobs, by the way.
Fernando Mendoza and Curt Cignetti defeated Oregon in the CFP.
The Rams beat the Panthers, on the field and on social media.
God forbid a woman gets a fit off. Erin Andrews did for Eagles/9ers, but the internet made some elementary jokes.

The Golden Globes had some noteworthy sporty moments. Let’s run through ‘em quickly.
The Rock was in attendance for “The Smashing Machine.” Is he going by “The Rock” in this context? Who knows. Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie were some of the best-dressed. Timmy C was there, because of course he was nommed for “Marty Supreme.” And oh yeah, he won.
More surprisingly, when Amy Poehler won Best Podcast, she thanked Bill Simmons and The Ringer. Shout out Bill, for giving us “Good Hang.”
It took me a bit to figure out why Skylar Diggins was there. But she was looking gorgeous as hell. Thank you to Saratoga Water for sending her.
Flag football phenom and actor Teyana Taylor won Best Supporting Female Actor in a Motion Picture for “One Battle After Another.”
“Sinners” isn’t about sports, but Ryan Coogler’s a former athlete, Michael B. Jordan played QB1 for the East Dillon Lions, and Hailee Steinfeld is carrying Josh Allen’s baby, so it’s sports, if you ask me. It’s also my favorite film of the year, and it won!
And presenter Priyanka Chopra gave a “Go Steelers” during her time at the mic.
