It’s pouring rain where I live, but I am told the spirit of summer is already alive for most everyone else in the country. If that’s the case for the city or burg you call home, congratulations, and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. 

Since it’s a long weekend for most of you, I assume you’re out boatin’, bbqin’ and boozin’ (alcohol or not). But I know you’ll find the time to read your favorite newsletter, too. Don’t worry, I’ll be brief! 

This weekend was a lot of fun for so many of our favorites. The Canadian Grand Prix and Indy 500 were both lit, albeit a little wet. I stand with the people of Montreal and Indy, who are also having a rainy weekend.

Almost as lit as the announcement we are making on socials tomorrow. Make sure to refresh your apps every 30 seconds, just to be safe. 

Even though they watched the Cavs lose, Taylor Swift’s hair looked amazing, and my GOAT tight end Travis Kelce proved he can chug a beer faster than yours.

Richard Jefferson kept calling Taylor Swift “Travis’s girlfriend” and boy, people did not like it. I thought it was funny, and I’m sure Taylor would, too, but that’s a risk you take being the funny guy. 

Speaking of girlfriends, Livvy Dunne was in attendance for Pirates vs Blue Jays, and her boyfriend Paul Skenes didn’t have the best game, which led to lots of online fodder, as you can imagine.  

The French Open is officially here, and some people are underwhelmed with Roland-Garros. 

My OffBall colleagues were in GQ to get you pumped for the World Cup, which officially begins in 17 days!!!! Can you believe it’s really happening!! I kind of can’t!! But let’s go!!
