OffBall X TOGETHXR W Special Edition
Live From Indy!
Hello from Indianapolis! Welcome to a Special Edition of the OffBall Daily featuring all the good stuff from WNBA All-Star this weekend, in partnership with our friends at TOGETHXR.
The thing that makes the WNBA so special is the players’ ability to have their fingers on the cultural pulse. There’s no question they’ve been leading the way in making engaging content and giving takes on anything and everything. So, we’re on the ground capturing all of the action happening across the weekend for you.
And if you don’t know TOGETHXR by now—that’s kinda wild…you really should, but—allow us to help. We’re doing this together with TOGETHXR, a media and commerce company founded by four of the world’s greatest athletes: Alex Morgan, Chloe Kim, Simone Manuel and Sue Bird. These women created the brand to tell stories and capture everything in the culture of women’s sports, and we’re here to capture everything in the culture of sports—ok, synergy!

…In every way possible. If you’re not on the ground in Indy, we’ve got you taken care of. We did a full-on W takeover on the OffBall homepage, so you don’t miss one single thang. Take a look here, but be careful, because once you start reading, you can’t stop.
The only bummer about the W is that there are so many amazing players and teams, it can be hard to choose a favorite. For tonight at least, TOGETHXR’s going to help you make that choice. Are you Team Phee or Team CC? Don’t worry, this is not legally binding. We think.
If you missed the StudBudz’s 72-hour livestream, no you didn’t…it’s 72 hours, it’s still going now. And when we say it’s delivering and then some, we really mean it. They’re showing us everything. No regrets, T. TOGETHXR captured this hilarious interaction on the Orange Carpet with the Budz and Angel Reese.
Are the girlies fighting? The CBA meetings this weekend, between 25 players and league execs, might have left much (some?) to be desired. Gabby Williams told media that the WNBA is trying to push out AU and Unrivaled. Breanna Stewart said the first 45 minutes of the first meeting were introductions. Nneka Ogwumike had to wake Courtney Williams up for the second meeting.

Obviously, some of the best content came from Orange Carpet on Thursday night. Whether it was finding out what certain players were early on (IYKYK) or getting influenced by Paige. Or pulling the bombshells for a chat.
On Friday night, the story of the night was Natasha Cloud winning the Skills Challenge, because in her pre-competition interview, she said she needed to win the money for Izzy (Harrison) and her family. And when she did just that, she said she was buying Izzy a house. She’s also taking Dearica Hamby shopping, apparently.
Caitlin Clark can’t participate on the court, but an injury can’t keep her from podding. She was Sue and Megan’s surprise guest on the live recording of A Touch More (catch the episode Monday).
A’ja, with Bam sitting in tow, recorded the events on her signature shoe. No, that’s not a typo. Then, Sabrina Ionescu, wearing the newest iteration of her own signature line, the Sabrina 3, won the 3-Point Contest to make it a sweep for the New York Liberty.
And after a bonkers night of streaming Thursday, Courtney Williams didn’t perform her best in the skills challenge, even though Caitlin Clark was rooting for her. By the way, on the carpet, Courtney told us she had already spent the “50 bands,” so she had to win. Let’s get this woman a financial planner.
