…At least for Trinity Rodman and Natalia Bryant it was. Did anyone else not know Trinity and Natalia were childhood besties, or am I the only who was in the dark? Anyway, they reunited at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, and gave us an anecdote about playing soccer together. Two kinds of people in the world: Natalias and Trinitys.
The highly anticipated trailer for French arthouse tennis film “Forty Love” is here, and it’s filled with references to some of your favorite tennis players. Nadal’s hair, Zverev’s nickname, and Ben Shelton’s outfits, to name a few. I’m still looking for my Flavio Cobolli Easter Egg.
F1 driver Liam Lawson allegedly plays music, though our crack team of investigators can’t find any proof of it. Thanks to Visa and Esses Mag, he’ll be the first racer to play live music at a race weekend — in this case, the Austin Grand Prix. But can he race and play the guitar at the same time???
When it comes to being rich, some people are just doing it right — like Jaylen Brown. He told Lil Baby on “The Last Ten,” that his best purchase ever was a golden harp, which he pays someone to come play while the sun sets. He said his worst purchase was a Porsche, which he bought to be like James Bond. I’m not going to tell him that James Bond mostly drove Aston Martins.
Friend of the Pod (newsletter) Shea Serrano has a really good newsletter wherein he reviews movies. This week on “Good Movie,” he reviewed “Above the Rim,” which I somehow haven’t seen, despite all of my high school/college boyfriends’ obsessions with Tupac.
Forward this to someone who loves the Valkyries, 49ers, Warriors, and PWHL San Jose.

The Valks will host Game 2 of the WNBA finals versus the Atlanta Dream tonight, and I expect there will be some major star power courtside. So far this season, players and coaches from the San Francisco 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, PWHL San Jose have all showed out (Mariah Keopple designed Gabby Williams’ pre-game look).
A few weeks ago, 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans lauded Balhalla as the best basketball experience he’s ever witnessed. His teammate Deebo Samuel said it was louder than a Warriors game. Maybe that’s why the Warriors have opted to attend the games, too.
Stephen Curry repped Veronica Burton pregame before the Warriors game on Friday.
For Saturday’s Game 1, Steve Kerr was there (doppelganger not included) and I have to say, the man looks good in purple. Zaza Pachulia (remember him?) and Yaxel Lendeborg were there.
Draymond was, too.
And Gabby Williams (and partner Marine Johannés) showed up to Warriors open practice to return the favor.
For what it’s worth, the men of Atlanta have shown support in their own ways, too. Hawks guard CJ McCollum gave Angel Reese a special nickname.
Plus, I have to give a special shout out to the current WNBA-playing WAGS of both teams, who made the trip too.

Our friends at WhatsApp (and us) hosted another Chat and this time, our talented chatters — Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Liv Morgan, and Trick Williams — really showed their ball knowledge. And their biases (we’ll allow it).

But the conversation got derailed a couple of times, as happens in these chats from time to time (all the time). And obviously it was, like, 80% sh*t talking.

And the rest was animals and cheese.

All in all, it was another success (if we do say so ourselves).
