Plus, You Better Show Up In Your Best Fit This Weekend For All-Star

…NBC News and OffBall are partnering to bring NBA lifestyle content to a device near you (your own device, even). Watch this space, and more specifically NBCNews.com, “Today,” and “NBC News Now” over the coming months, and you just might see what we’ve got in store.
If you live at the intersection of sports and culture and art and whatnot, join the club (it’s packed, but there’s still room). But also, read this Q&A between Karl-Anthony Towns and every NBA player’s favorite artist, Rashid Johnson.
Noah Kahan has big dreams of making the Korn Ferry tour. There’s only one problem: he isn’t a good golfer. He told Katie Nolan the more he plays, the worse he gets. I feel like in this age of celebrity reign, he still has a shot, though. Imagine the hashtag content.
Cade Cunningham owns many things. The city of Detroit, plant-based meat promotional junkets, and now, the Texas Rangers. The Arlington-born Pistons great just became part-owner of the baseball team, which provokes me once again to ask: Is baseball cool now?
I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned the “Minions” ice skater yet. That’s my bad. In his routine, Spanish figure skater Tomas Guarino uses music from the film and even dresses as one. Some people call it tasteless product placement, but I think the guy just likes “Minions.” Is that a crime?
Forward this to a loverboy or lovergirl, or to a loverthey.

Athletes are always dating each other because dumb idiots like us don’t understand what it’s like to have a champion’s mentality, or a six pack. They’re always dating performers and celebrities because dumb idiots like us don’t understand the concept of privacy (or being rich).
Because as of recently, we’ve been seeing lots of love in the air, and because Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, we should talk about some of our favorite athlete pairings. I’m not going to call this a ranking because we don’t need to do all that, but here are the athletes I’m wishing a Happy Valentine’s Day to.
Of course, we have our usual suspects: the Megans and Klays of the world (who recently celebrated Klay Day aka his birthday).
And we’ve got the Donovans and Cocos doin’ their own adorable thing (singing the Black National Anthem at the Super Bowl and praising her for it, respectively).
And the Trinitys and Bens posting dog to main.
However, Chloe Kim and Myles Garrett are the couple most top of mind for all of us right now. Maybe because for Chloe, love is in the air (literally). Myles watched her win a silver medal last night (Milan time), and he did it with a gigantic camera and her face on his jacket.

A couple you may not know about, but should, is Sonia Citron and Marist Liufau. Whenever a man is loud and proud about their partner, that’s a big W for society, in my opinion. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Marist was there on WNBA draft night, shouted her out for her All-Star selection, and most recently was courtside for her first Unrivaled 1-on-1 matchup.
Then there’s Brandon Ingram and Glorilla. Although I think we could have gone without the “she’ll be mad if I don’t,” I’m still counting this little shoutout as a W. Also he’s been training her up for the celeb game, and there’s basically nothing as adorable as that.
To read more about Olympic couples, like Evan Bates and Madison Chock (who were robbed in their event, by the way), read on here.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers out there.

It won’t come as a surprise that most of the big brands are bringing the best looks to NBA All-Star. Starting with Kith’s 25th Anniversary of the 2001 All-Star Game, featuring Vince, Latrell, and T-Mac.
Adidas and its longtime collaborator Willy Chavarria are releasing a collection that pays homage to the city, community, and arts in Los Angeles, featuring a special Harden vol. 10 collab .
And if you post up at Foot Locker all weekend for the exclusive sneaker drops, you’ll catch some of your favorite athletes and personalities as they stop by for brands like Crocs, Adidas, PUMA, and Nike.
And if you’re into free stuff, can I interest you in a Nike scavenger hunt?
P.S. Here’s a map of All-Star happenings in case the world ends and you lose internet access. Except you need internet to access that link. And your main priority probably isn’t All-Star in that situation. Anyway.
