Livvy Dunne And Paul Skenes Are Taking Over
Plus, Melo Goes To The Hall

…Or should we say Elympics? Anyway, the very first Olympic Esports Games will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027. Many of the details are still up in the air, but we can probably assume Monster or Mountain Dew will be the main sponsor.
She won our hearts during the tourney and a shoe deal, too! Skechers added a new hooper to their roster in USC’s Kiki Iriafen. She joins the likes of Rickea Jackson, Joel Embiid, and Julius Randall as a Skechers athlete.
Stylists have been working with athletes for years—that isn’t a new phenomenon. Teams hiring stylists kind of is, though. Mercedes-Benz hired one after Lewis Hamilton departed to make sure their drivers maintained their lewks.
Danielle Snyder turned a hobby of upcycling sports merch during a difficult time in her life into a full-fledged fashion brand. It all started when Warriors players started noticing her courtside fits.
Padres star Jackson Merrill wants everyone to calm down because he swears he didn’t throw away his collectible cards, despite everyone being mad at him for it. But it seems he does have some strong opinions about cards and card people. He also has like 30 different signatures.

They may be a cute couple, but Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes are complete opposites in most ways. Physically, there’s about a foot and over 100 pounds differentials in their statures. Dispositionally, she loves taking pics with doting fans, and Paul says that’s not his job. She operates at a high octane energy level while he remains reserved, only really turning up for baseball talk.
The tie that seems to bind them? Respective world domination. He’s insistent on taking the Pirates to the playoffs, and it appears she’s been a budding business-woman since she was 10. Livvy is in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and Paul doesn’t even have the Instagram app on his phone.
Livvy is the highest paid collegiate women’s athlete and boasts over 10M followers across various platforms, so the future can be whatever she wants it to be (something in sports, allegedly). But after she graduates this year, she’ll also be a proper WAG, something she’s excited for—and honestly already kind of crushing, considering she’s spending weekends flying from her meets to watch him accept awards.
Despite their differences, they make a great couple. And together, it’s pretty clear they're going to rule the world.

If you’re a UConn fan, you are not starved for alumni that frequently make history. Nonetheless, this is your chance to watch one of the most special players in your school’s history fight for a nattie.
We’ll all miss Paige Bueckers when she inevitably leaves (she declared recently and was quoted saying she thought she did it a long time ago, but whatevs). Especially Geno, who is not shy about his special connection to the 23-year-old phenom.
And it isn’t just Paige that makes this team so fun, although she does seem to set the tone. And on the court, this team might be the best one they’ve put together in years.
And they wouldn’t be here without the legendary Geno Auriemma—the genius behind some of the best tournament runs (nay, seasons) in women’s hoops history time and time again.
So this one is for UConn. Whatever happens in the tournament barely matters because the real championship was having Paige, Azzi, Geno, and their ilk on your side.

Carmelo Anthony, have yourself a week!
On Tuesday, Syracuse announced that everyone’s favorite Orangeman, would give the commencement speech for 2025. A good pick, considering his gift for storytelling and commanding a room.
Exciting news by itself, sure, but the excitement didn’t end there. Yesterday, Shams reported Melo would be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
Hope Melo pull up to give his HOF speech just like this

Couple that with the fact that his wine will be sold at one of the most historic arenas in sports (MSG). With all of these bucket list achievements being checked off, how could he possibly outdo them? Great question; thanks for asking!
It turns out his big moves may not be done. His latest plans (maybe desires is more apt) involve becoming part of the Wizards ownership group; and he pretty easily made his case when Monica McNutt asked him to sell himself as a potential owner. Seems like Melo’s a business, man, not a business-man.
Melo wants in on the Wizards ownership group 👀
He's got a formula that will turn them up for a promising future 🫡

All this news is prompting teams and fans alike to share their favorite Melo moments and memories. Our personal favorite Melo is Arch Digest Melo, for what it’s worth.
Which is your favorite version of Melo?
