After a marathon night in the Bronx, the Los Angeles Dodgers are your World Series champions. Congratulations boys, flags fly forever. While the win happened in the Bronx, if you know how LA celebrates, you know the party (and fireworks) started on the West Coast immediately.

The Dodgers pulled off a wild comeback with the help of a few ghastly errors from the Yankees, the biggest of which came in the fifth inning when pitcher Gerrit Cole failed to cover first base on an infield hit. This one is going to hurt for a long time.

Ice Cube, who helped the Dodgers open the World Series in Los Angeles, celebrated in kind. You know how the song goes—“today was a good day.” The lyrics rang through LA well into Thursday morning.

As always, Nike was ready with an ad to celebrate as soon as the title was won. Roll credits.

While Dodgers fans didn’t get to celebrate at home, the Clippers were playing in LA, and fans were able to cheer together in bliss as a basketball game happened in the background.

There's no party like the winning locker room.

Halfway through the NFL season, no team is having more fun than the Washington Commanders. After suffering through years of mediocre at best and dismal at worst play on the field and an ownership regime that gave little reason to hope, the Commanders are flying high.

Leading the charge is rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who is already playing like an MVP candidate. On Sunday, he pulled off his latest miracles, connecting on a last-second Hail Mary and producing one of the best news hits you’ll ever see in the process.

The last two decades have not been pretty for D.C. football, with the team going nine coaches since 2000 with only two playoff wins to show for it (one of them just five days into the new millennium), but Daniels has brought hope. Crowds are hyped, fans are buying in.

One player can change a football team, and with it, a city. Daniels looks like he’s ready to do just that. He’s already one of the top-selling jerseys in the league, and for many Commanders fans, the first jersey that’s been worth buying in a generation. With a new stadium on the horizon, Washington has plenty to look forward to.

50 years later, the Rumble in the Jungle remains one of the biggest sporting events of all time. Take a look back at the amazing stories behind the story.
