Kai Cenat says Crawl, Football Stars Say ‘How Fast?’

Morgan Wallen wants to be a football star.

Sports. Culture. Curated Daily.

Drake’s OVO brand unveiled their new “Campus Collection” with a new slate of varsity jackets for schools including Yale and Stanford. Kendrick has 48 hours to respond with his own fashion line.

Rich Homie Quan's legacy is all ATL. As an early supporter of Atlanta United, he was the second man to ever hammer in the club’s Golden Spike—a tradition that opens home matches. His music will continue to soundtrack stadiums for years and years.

Jake Paul’s long and winding road from Vine and YouTube shock jock to bona fide boxing star is still hard to wrap your head around. Like it or not, he’s the biggest star in the sport today.

Adidas found its soul in the sole of its Samba. The German sneaker giant leaned into its legendary archive of soccer-inspired footwear to bring itself back from the brink after a big money deal with Ye blew up two years ago. It’s now coming after Nike in basketball, thanks to one Anthony Edwards.

Colorado’s two-way phenom Travis Hunter got on his hands and knees to crawl in celebration after the Buffs’ overtime win over Baylor over the weekend. It marked a full circle moment—inspired by one of culture’s most viral sources.

The move was a suggestion internet icon Kai Cenat made to Hunter on a Twitch stream last week. Hunter promised that he would use the celly soon, and he delivered. Cenat was understandably hyped.

Hunter even shouted out Cenat after the game. You gotta love a man that keeps his word.

Cenat’s magic touch didn’t stop there. On Sunday, star NFL wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown also went all catch-and-fetch after scoring a touchdown.

The term “influencer” gets thrown around to excess, but Cenat got two superstars publicly crawling on all fours in two days—that’s influence.

NFL social media admins armed with iPhones and tiny mics have been jump-scaring players with old photos culled from deep scrolls through long-forgotten Instagram and Facebook pages. The results, across the league, have been marvelous. The WNBA has gotten in on the trend too.

This week, the Titans took the prank up another level.

Morgan Wallen played two shows at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee over the weekend. He dropped quite the nostalgia bomb, too, enlisting Volunteers legend Peyton Manning to walk out alongside him—in full uni.

@morganwallen

Rocky Top, you’ll always be…

But Manning wasn't the only athlete cameo of Wallen’s One Night At A Time Tour. Last month, country’s football frontman led Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones out of the Arrowhead Stadium tunnel.

In Vegas, it was Tom Brady and Mike Tyson who saw him out of the locker room.

Wallen’s got shows in the Buccaneers and Panthers home football stadiums between now and the end of October. Who else does he have to call up from his impressive Rolodex? We can’t wait to find out.
