…With you! Yeah, you! Bon Iver, aka Justin Vernon, is promoting his newest album, SABLE, fABLE, with in-person basketball tourneys. Los Angeles, go play lockdown D on Bon Iver Friday, April 12th. It’s free, but you gotta RSVP.

Suni Lee sat courtside at the Knicks game, and OG Anunoby put up Wilt numbers (Ok, not quite) after a cutaway of the US gymnast smiling at the camera was shown in-arena. Everyone thinks they’re dating now.

Lil Wayne showed up to say what’s up to Bill Belichick at UNC practice, we guess. Did someone make a wish while throwing a coin in an ancient fountain as lightning struck and switched bodies with this man?

Oscar winners, they love wrestling just like us. After a performance of his latest show on Broadway, Kieran Culkin revealed what his dream Wrestlemania situation would look like. He’s taking CM Punk to take it all

Pete Carroll has a long commute from LA to Vegas. Even though he’s the head coach of the Raiders, he’ll still keep teaching a course at USC, all about how to “win forever.” And he’s hand-picked some celeb TAs, like Jason Sudeikis, Rainn Wilson, and Steve Kerr.

Alex Ovechkin’s historical, record-breaking goal had opposing fans and even the former record holder, Wayne Gretzky, on their feet.

So, it’s obviously safe to call Ovechkin one of the GOATs on the ice, but there might be some things you don’t know about Ovi...

…Unless you’re the fan who has been following the Capitals around in an Ovi-themed Jeep, adorned with a stuffed goat, a life-sized Ovechkin figurine, and a neon goal counter, like this fan, who probably knows all of this already.

For the rest of you, did you know his mom was president of Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird’s team in Russia? They told the story as Ovi tied Gretzky’s record during the UCLA/UConn women’s game.

Did you know the reason he wears number 8, and is contention for one of the best 8-wearers in sportsdom is because his aforementioned mom, Tatyana, wore 8 when she played basketball?

Did you know he’s such a prolific goal-scorer that Budweiser sent a special edition beer to each goalie he didn’t score on?

Did you also know that his favorite song is Bandz A Make Her Dance by Juicy J? What better song to celebrate breaking the record? No, really, he loves this song.

@capitals

i do my lil dancey dance #shimmy #sing #ovechkin #hockey

Did you know he also loves playing hockey with neighborhood kids around DC?

Ok, great, now maybe you’re ready for that Alex Ovechkin-themed trivia you’ve been meaning to go to. Or maybe you just have a bunch of useless facts bouncing around in that brain of yours, like us.

If you watched last night’s matchup between Houston and Florida, you probably woke up fingernail-less. It was a battle until the very end, but Florida came out victorious—despite Jim Nantz’s Houston hype video. The Cougars had one of the most historic runs in Final Four history (overcoming the largest deficit ever and getting lit in the locker room) but couldn’t get over the final hurdle.

Most people assumed Florida would win, especially Bradley Beal—who is super unbiased, of course. As promised, the Gators wouldn’t back down, and they danced their way into our hearts and up the ladder to cut down the nets (though some of them didn’t need it), thanks to Walter Clayton Jr.

Congratulations to the Florida Gators. And if you missed it, here’s the best part of the tournament: One Shining Moment.

It’s just emotions, taking coaches over, caught up in sorrow, lost in a game. If nothing else, this NCAA tournament reminded us that coaches get upset. Like, really upset.

On Sunday, when UConn defeated South Carolina in the women’s national championship game, there was no shortage of Dawn Staley cutaways. Mostly because she was uncharacteristically crashing out most of the game.

As she mouthed expletives on the bench, we all saw ourselves in Dawn Staley. Because who among us hasn’t lost control, if only for a moment or 40?

And if you’re Staley and your team is down 35 points, sometimes kicking and screaming is the only thing you can do.

This tournament was especially emotional for coaches. Also in this tournament was a Kim Mulkey tantrum (ok, more than one) wherein she smacked the clipboard out of WNBA legend Seimone Augustus’ hands.

UConn men’s head coach, Dan Hurley, went on 60 Minutes to talk about how embarrassed he is of a viral video of him shouting at refs.

Shout out to his brother Bobby for also having world-renowned freak-outs. Hopefully, we get to see one in the tourney sometime soon.

Life’s hard, even if you’re a successful NCAA coach. That’s what therapy is for.

Apparently, he does all kinds of stuff in the shower and has a favorite child.
