Hurts Not To Be Jalen Right Now
Here’s How The Internet Reacted

…At the 2028 Olympics. She played in the flag football Super Bowl celebrity game and she’s got some serious skills. Shifty, good hands, hard to take down, she’s the full package.
La Pointe knows how to put on a NYFW show. The looks were on point at the NBPA, where the brand showed off its Fall/Winter 25 collection. The music was also on point—not sure how the attendees stayed still the whole time. Kudos.
Hu gotta Bie kiddin’ me. After decades and decades in basketball as a player, coach, and analyst—and after having covered or coached 80% of all NBA players ever—the legendary Hubie Brown is retiring at 91 years old. Watch Dame pay homage to him here.
Grab your tissues. Randy Moss’ colleagues welcomed him back amid his battle with cancer, and he couldn’t keep it together. Nor could we. Featured in the emotional tribute were Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, Marie Green, Justin Jefferson, Kevin Garnett, and many others.
If you’ve wondered who the mastermind behind Art But Make It Sports is, here’s your answer. By the way, he did not take Art History classes and doesn’t consider himself an art historian. Maybe he’s closer to Rain Man.

The Chiefs weren’t able to pull off the elusive 3-peat, but there were some firsts in this one. Autumn Lockwood became the first black woman to coach on the biggest stage. Devonta Smith became the first player to show up in the other team’s colors (probably). Leo Messi was there but wore neither team’s colors.
And you just knew when Jalen showed up in the royal purple get-up, it was a wrap for the new Super Bowl king. Plus, you won’t believe who texted him prior to the last loss to the Chiefs—surely that served as motivation this time around. Also, maybe he read this and decided to prove the haters (and his birth chart) wrong.
The once unbeatable Chiefs struggled—on both sides of the ball—like never before, so naturally, there were many dead eyes on the sidelines.
Saquon didn’t exactly ball out, but thanks to him and the rest of the Eagles team, Chad Ochocinco gets to shower.

Things started off jovially for the Chiefs, thanks to The Onion.

All in all, it wasn’t pretty for KC. So what do you think? Are the QB GOAT conversations on pause?

Since OffBall launched last September, we've been fortunate to collaborate with some creative partners who inspire us. Today we shout out our friends at SPORT BEACH, who welcomed us into their Clubhouse to tell the story of why a New Orleans Super Bowl is the premier fan experience.
Throughout Super Bowl week, SPORT BEACH X OffBall curated conversations that brought together leading athletes, content creators and one-of-ones like LSU women's basketball star and rapper, Flau'jae Johnson.
The daily SPORT BEACH newsletter, powered by OffBall, was a go-to source for everything happening around NOLA, including a Saturday scoop that revealed Samuel L. Jackson's prominent role in Kendrick Lamar's Sunday halftime show. We hope you'll continue to follow SPORT BEACH here as they continue to offer the best connections and storytelling moments in sports.
