It’s a sunny day, the gang’s all here, Doechii + Major League Soccer, ah, ha, ha, ha, ha.
The decision to partner with Doechii for their latest Game On Campaign is a “home run” for MLS. Oops, a “hole-in-one.” Let’s call it a hat trick, because Doechii is a triple threat (at least).
It may not be an obvious pairing, but hear us out. The Grammy-nominated singer was a soccer player herself growing up and seems to be a big fan. Couple that with her undeniable charisma and one-of-a-kind aesthetic, and this campaign is sure to usher in a new brand of MLS fan.
On the campaign, Chief Marketing Officer of MLS, Radhika Duggal, said: “The excitement is palpable…this is MLS’ energy. It is a celebration of soccer, culture, and community that propels the league into the future.”
So, if MLS’ goal is to continue to grow the game, and get people excited, no doubt they’re doing just that—go read the comments on the YouTube video if you don’t believe us. Anyway, if you need us, we’ll be watching her Tiny Desk for the 100th time.

Have you seen (or not seen) the newest Air Jordan campaign?
The GOAT has given us 40 years of iconic basketball shoes, and to celebrate, his statue is being censored! Sorta.
It all started back in 1985 when the NBA attempted to ban the sneakers because of the red and black color of the shoes. To which MJ said “F them rules.” Michael kept wearing the shoes, and Nike agreed to pay the fines. Which Nike also did for Jalen Hurts when the NFL fined him recently, stating, “you can’t ban greatness.”
@brkicks Jordan Brand and the Bulls have “banned” the sneakers featured on Michael Jordan’s statue as part of their campaign for the iconic “Bred” ... See more
Now, for the 40th anniversary, they’re “banning” the shoes again. They deactivated the Air Jordan IG account—temporarily, we assume. They’ve put black bars over the shoes on his statue outside the United Center. They even dropped a Christmas Day commercial. And, since they’re no stranger to good marketing, Jordan even had fake tickets issued to any employees wearing the shoes.
What do we think they’ll do next? Super Bowl commercial?!
