A Bonkers Day For The UCL
Plus, Willy Chavarria Loves A Fashion-Sports Crossover

…Because they’re engagement fodder and indicate a brand’s cultural prowess, the $7M price tag might be worth it. Then again, that is only if you have $7M to spend on a 30 second ad. And in that case, you’re probably doing well already. Anyway, don’t take business advice from us, please.
Hailee Steinfeld says her fiancé Josh Allen is the hardest-working person she’s ever known. She’s probably at least a little bit biased, but we believe her. She said a couple of other sweet things, too.
Everyone thought Jake and Logan Paul were going to fight each other because of this. But it turns out they aren’t. They’re going to star in a reality show together. Though it kinda feels like they already had one for some reason.
Jules Koundé is soccer’s high fashion MVP. The FC Barcelona defender brought the tunnel walk over to Europe, but lately, he’s leveled up even further in the fashion world. First, he appeared in a Jacquemus campaign in September. Now, he’s modeling for a collab between Zara and former Virgil Abloh protégé Samuel Ross.
Skincare and snow sports are a match made in heaven. Beauty brand Ilia is partnering with skiwear brand Halfdays to prove their new product can withstand the harsh winter elements on the slopes.

The revamped Champions League will see 18 games kick off at the exact same time this afternoon. The games today mark the end of the league phase, which now culminates in an absolute cuckoo footballing bonanza. And who better to cover said absolutely cuckoo bonanza than everyone’s favorite hosts and analysts at CBS Sports?
The storyline dominating the timeline is Man City’s no-good, very-bad season and being at risk of a shock elimination, potentially not even earning a spot in the second-tier Europa League. The intention of the new format was actually to protect the larger teams, but we respect Pep Guardiola and Co. for insisting on keeping life interesting.
If you don’t know the UCL Today and The Golazo Show cast, get ready to learn hilarious, buddy. Because they are. Kate, Thierry, Jamie, and Micah have figured out how to bring fun back to the sports studio show.
They’ve given us some of the funniest moments in soccer. Like this one. And this one, which led to this. The TL:DR is that it’s mostly Kate making fun of Micah Richards. And Jamie’s American accent has been banging around in our brains ever since this.
And if you’re thinking, “Gee, I sure wish RedZone existed for this,” you’re in luck. Also, memo to self, next Black Friday, be on the lookout for some kind of “buy one get 17 TVs free” deal so you can watch every game at the same time.

If sports and fashion are planning a link-up, Willy Chavarria is hosting the party, filling drinks, making sure we aren’t out of guac, and manning the aux.
Chavarria is fashion’s most celebrated independent designer right now and has been one of the few in his industry to adequately unlock the power of sports. It’s why he’s been tapped by Kendrick to design a collection to commemorate his biggest performance yet, on sports’ greatest stage: The Super Bowl Half-Time Show.
His latest achievements in bridging high fashion with sports are no surprise because, thematically, his garments tend to invoke sports as a theme. You’ve undoubtedly seen Willy’s looks on several prominent athletes. Noah Lyles modeling skimpy items on the runway of his SS25 show last fall, bespoke outfits designed for Lewis Hamilton, and in his latest collab with Adidas, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton. Plenty of athletes showed out for the queer, Mexican-American designer’s debut show at PFW (which he arrived at in style, as well, by the way).
So yeah, when it comes to sports, watch Willy’s space.
